I am a Maryland native who graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1999. After graduating with degrees in management information systems and finance, I went to work as a technology consultant. Realizing that my career was not fulfilling for me, I decided to pursue something that would allow me to work more directly with people and have a direct impact on people’s lives. I resigned from my job and began to pursue a career in dentistry. I spent a year at Georgetown University, gaining the prerequisites for dental school, and continued on to the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, I continued my training with a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Long Beach, CA, where I provided comprehensive dental care to our nation’s veterans. After my residency, my wife and I returned to Maryland to be closer to our families and to raise our own families. We now have four children with whom we spend most of our time…either playing, helping with homework, or enjoying the outdoors. I have been working with patients in Southern Maryland to provide healthy, happy smiles since 2011, and look forward to doing the same for you!
